In line with DMAi's continuous efforts to create recognition for marketers who have made a difference in the way brands communicate with customers and raised the standards and level of professionalism in marketing. The DMAi Hall of Fame will recognize scholars, marketers, creatives and entrepreneurs who have impacted the direct & interactive industry.
DMAi's Hall of Fame is modeled along the lines of DMA Hall of Fame, the most prestigious award bestowed in the direct marketing community. DMAi Hall of Fame will felicitate lifetime achievers in two categories - living & posthumous and as many as four individuals can be inducted every year to serve as an inspiration for future generations and encourage excellence.
Every year, the DMAi assembles an Executive Committee of scholars, marketers, creatives, and entrepreneurs to select inductees nominated by peers and the public into the DMAi Hall of Fame,The Executive Committee selects up to 4 individuals and nominates them for review by the DMA Board of Directors & Board of Governors. The award may be made at the discretion of the DMA Hall of Fame Executive Committee for accomplishments of significance either past or present.
Up to four awards in either category (living or posthumous) can be awarded annually. However, it is not necessary to present awards every year and the Committee and/or the Board may recommend and vote not to induct anyone in a given year. We believe that convention in itself means the collective effort of national and international people. Because of world events, visa applications are subject to a greater degree of scrutiny than in the past. The greater the scrutiny, the longer the waiting period. So we request our members from the international market will have to approach their respective embassies to get their visas sanctioned at the earliest.
Visa requirements vary from country to country. Contact the Indian embassy or consulate in the country where you live to determine if you will need a visa and/or a visa support letter to visit India. The decision to grant visas belongs solely to the embassy/consulate. DMAi cannot promise that you or your colleagues will receive a visa. Likewise, DMAi cannot change the decision of the governmental agency should your application be denied.
